The Real to Reel Film Series exists to bring the Tampa Bay community together through engaging, thought-provoking, and high-quality Jewish themed documentary films, capturing the true stories of real people brought to life on screen.

TOVAH is a star-studded documentary directed by David Serero profiling legendary Jewish Broadway actress Tovah Feldshuh. The film explores her life, career, and impact as a cultural icon, featuring interviews with peers like Oscar Isaac and Dustin Hoffman. It showcases her rise as a leading stage performer and her unapologetic Jewish identity. The documentary traces Feldshuh’s ascent from a daring young actress in the 1970s to becoming a “Broadway institution” and cultural icon. It explores her commitment to powerful female narratives, her pioneering solo performances, and her uncompromising artistic standards.
